Phone rings at night.

It’s late at night, the house is quiet, and the phone suddenly rings.

The husband, half-asleep and not in the mood to talk, grumbles to his wife, “If it’s for me, just tell them I’m not at home.”

The wife, without skipping a beat, picks up the phone. “Hello? Yes, he’s right here at home.” She promptly hangs up.

The husband, now wide awake and fuming, snaps, “What the HELL?! I just told you to say I’m not here!”

Without even looking at him, the wife rolls her eyes and says, “Relax and shut up. The call was for me.”
