Jane Seymour embodies grace, talent, and enduring beauty in the entertainment industry. Celebrated for her diverse acting career, the 72-year-old has captivated audiences with her remarkable performances for many years.
Beyond her status as a Hollywood legend, Seymour is also an accomplished author and a devoted mother.
She has embraced the ups and downs of motherhood, including the unique journey of raising twin sons.
Seymour, who has experienced four marriages and divorces, is the proud mother of Katherine, 41, and Sean Flynn, 38, from her union with David Flynn. Additionally, she shares her twin sons, John Stacy and Kristopher Steven, 27, from her marriage to filmmaker James Keach.
Seymour faced numerous challenges on her path to motherhood, openly discussing with People how in-vitro fertilization resulted in two miscarriages, almost leading her and her then-husband, Keach, to give up on their dreams of having children. However, at the age of 44, her third pregnancy was successful, culminating in the birth of her twin sons, John and Kristopher.
The twins arrived six weeks early through an emergency C-section due to pre-eclampsia, which meant they encountered difficulties right from the beginning. The pregnancy and delivery were risky, and both Seymour and her babies narrowly avoided a tragic situation. In an interview with Loose Women, she shared, “I nearly died having them, and the babies nearly died.”
Despite the risks, Seymour has never looked back with regret, expressing, “I’m very glad I had them.” The early arrival of the twins required careful monitoring during their initial days.
