Born blind and with cerebral palsy, he overcame significant challenges, regaining his sight and learning to walk.

Rory’s mother, Shelly Sykes, recounted their final moments, tragically unable to save her son as fire resources fell short. Despite the loss, Shelly celebrates Rory’s adventurous spirit and resilience, calling for greater awareness for individuals with disabilities and improved emergency measures. Rory’s legacy of courage and kindness will not be forgotten.
